Who we are

Cinequad Ltd (“Cinequad”, “we”, “us”) runs this website and is the controller of personal information collected through it. You can contact us about anything in this policy using the contact form on our About page.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email address.
• Kit feedback: your name or callsign, the kit you're interested in, your experience level and your feedback.
• Comments: your name or callsign and comment, and your email address only if you choose to give it for kit launch notification.
• Contact form: your name, email address and message.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and its fonts are served from our own domain. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.

How we use it

• Waitlist emails are used to send you one message when pre-orders open. That's what you signed up for. We don't send marketing beyond that without your consent.
• Feedback and contact messages are used to read and reply to you.
• Comments are moderated and may be published on the article you commented on.

The lawful basis is your consent (for the waitlist and launch notifications) and our legitimate interest in responding to you and running a safe website. We never sell your email address or personal information.

Who we share it with

Our website and forms are hosted by Netlify, Inc., which processes form submissions and technical data on our behalf. Netlify is based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the UK under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law. We don't share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it for, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. To do so, use the contact form on our About page. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
